Our process

What we do when we get there.

  1. 1

    Assess.

We find how far the water went. It's usually farther than it looks, into the pad and along the walls.

  2. 2

    Extract.

Heavy extraction pulls standing water out of the carpet and pad. This is the step that matters most.

  3. 3

    Treat.

An antimicrobial treatment helps keep mold and mildew from growing while everything dries.

  4. 4

    Dry and check.

Air movers keep the air moving, and we come back to make sure it's dry all the way through.

What we handle

Leaks, floods and storms.

Gulf Coast storms and humid air make fast drying even more important down here.

Burst or leaking pipes

Supply lines, fittings and slow leaks under the floor.

Appliance failures

Washers, dishwashers, fridge lines and water heaters.

Storm water

Rain coming in through windows, doors and walls.

Overflowed tubs and toilets

Handled case by case, depending on the water.

Before we arrive

What you can do right now.

Stop the water

Shut off the supply valve or the main if it's safe to reach. Less water in means less to pull out.

Stay clear of power

Keep away from outlets and cords near wet areas. If water reached them, shut off that breaker only if you can do it safely.

Lift what you can

Get furniture off wet carpet. Wood stain and metal feet can leave marks that don't come out.

FAQ

Water damage questions.

Don't see yours? Call 812-606-9556 and ask the owner directly.

How fast do I need to call?

As soon as you can. Same-day extraction gives carpet the best chance, and mold can start in 24 to 48 hours.

Can my carpet be saved?

Often, if it's clean water and caught early. Dirty water, or water that sat too long, usually means replacing the pad or the carpet. We'll tell you honestly which it is.

What about sewage or floodwater?

Contaminated water is handled case by case. Heavy contamination may need a licensed mitigation company, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
